According to poem written by brother, Thomas, John may have died during the voyage. Probably not this John BANCROFT. Was John Bancroft from Lynn, MA in 1632, died 1637 in Lynn widow Jane. Jane moved to Long Island and later to Connecticut where she died in or before 16441

ACAG: lists wife as Alice Bacon d/o Michael Bacon of Dedham and mother of Thomas (1649-1718) who m: Sarah Poole.12
