Lived at Woodstock, Conn., when he married Eunice
Blood. A tanner by trade, he located after his
marriage for a time in Sutton, Mass., but soon
joined his brother Ebenezer in Warwick, Mass.,
where he acquired Lot No. 31 and part of Lot No.
53, both in the 3rd Division of land. (Bk. 12, p.
783, Registry of Deeds, Springfield, Mass.) He sold
Lot No. 31 to Daniel Gale of Worcester, Mass., 24
May 1777 (Bk. 14, p. 521, ibid.) and the pat of Lot
No. 53 to John Ormsbe of Warwick, * May 1780 (Bk.
15, p. 683, Registry of Deeds, Greenfield, Mass.)
at which time he removed to Chettenden, Vt. Died at
the age of 63 and buried at Chittenden, Vermont.
His occupation was a town officer, early settler of
Chittenden, Vt.
